Getting the job in the Staff Selection Commission is not an easy task. To get the jobs, candidates require to clear an examination followed by the personal interview round. SSC Eligibility Criteria

Nationality Criteria For SSC

  • Applying aspirants must be a Citizen of Indian
  • He/she must be a subject of Bhutan /Nepal
  • Tibetan refugees (Settled in India before 1962) are also eligible to apply.
  • Individuals settling down permanently in India from Zambia, Zaire, Kenya, Malawi, Pakistan, Vietnam, Burma, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Sri Lanka.

Educational Qualification

The Staff Selection Commission conducts various examinations. The education requirement for every post will be different. Candidates passed graduation, post-graduation are eligible to apply while candidates passed their 10th,12th  are also eligible to apply. Candidates can check the educational details from the official notification for the post for which they are going to apply. It must be noted that all the aspirants have to satisfy the eligibility term. Candidates do not have the required qualification will not be allowed to fill the application form.

Age Criteria

Physical Fitness Requirements

Male 157.5 cm Chest – 81 cm with minimum expansion 5 cm. Note: Relaxation of 5 cm. will be provided to Garhwali, Assamese, Gorkhas and the Scheduled Tribes Candidates.
Female 152 Cm. Height relaxation- 2.5 cm Weight – 48 kgs. Note: Relaxation of 2 kgs. Will be provided to Garhwali, Assamese, Gorkhas and the Scheduled Tribes Candidates.

Physical Test Standards

Male Aspirants require to cover 1600 meters in Fifteen (15) minutes Aspirants require to walk 8 km in Thirty (30) minutes.
Female Aspirants require to cover 1000 meters in Fifteen (15) minutes Aspirants require to walk 3 km in Twenty Five (25) minutes.

Application Fee

Those who are going to fill the application form have to pay an application fee of Rs. 100/-(one hundred only)

Fee can be pay through

  • Net Banking
  • Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or
  • SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan

It may be noted that the aspirants belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) and Women candidates are exempted to pay the application fee.

Documents Required To Fill The SSC Application Form

  • Valid Mobile Number and Email ID which can be verified through OTP
  • Identity proof like Aadhaar Number, voter card number or any other documents issued by the government of India .
  • Educational Documents as per the post requirement 
  • Scanned passport size recent photograph and size should be (20 KB to 50 KB)
  • Scanned signature and size should be (10 to 20 KB)
  • Disability Certificate in case of Disabled candidates

Steps To Fill SSC Application Form

Candidates have to fill the form in the two steps that are-

  1. One-time Registration
  2. Filling online Application for the Examination

  1. One-time Registration
  2. Firstly, visit that is the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
  3. Now press the “Register Now” link visible on the right side of the home page.
  4. After that, another page will be opened. Candidates have to provide all the required details.
  5. First of all, aspirants require to provide all the Basic Details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date  of birth, aadhar number etc. Must assure to provide all the details in the correct manner, and details must be free from errors.
  6. Now you have to provide your educational details. Details must be correct and verified. 
  7. Thereafter provide your valid mobile number and email ID.
  8. Now you have to confirm your mobile number and email ID.
  9. Finally, your registration number will appear on your screen. The commission will also send the Registration Number and password in the registered mobile number and email ID.
  10. After getting your password, change it for future reference.
  11. Candidates require to complete part 02 of the registration within the 14 days of doing the 01st part. If any candidates fail to do the same, then all the filled details will be deleted, and candidates have to fill the complete form again.

Filling online Application for the Examination

  • Login to your account by using your Registration Number and password
  • Go to the notification for which you want to apply and press the apply link.
  • As soon as you press the apply link, the application form will be appearing at your screen.
  • Your details will be auto-filled in the application. You have to select the exam Centers. You can select it as per your suitability.
  • Now go to the payment section and pay the prescribed application fee as per the prescribed guidelines.
  • After that, press the “I agree” and submit the form.
  • At last, submit the filled application form and print a filled application form for future use.

SSC Admit Card 2020-21 

The Staff selection Commission will release the SSC Admit Card 2020-21 on the official website after the completion of the application procedure. Candidates will be able to download their admit card easily by providing their login credentials and other required details. All the information related to the Examination will be mentioned in the admit card only.

SSC Result 2020-21

SSC Cutoff 2020-21

If you want to clear the SSC examination then you have to clear the cut off marks. The cut off marks are the minimum marks which candidates have to secure to clear the Examination. Candidates does not able to achieve the cut off marks will be disqualified.
